Join Our Community

Our volunteer team and supporters make DCMS what it is, a community organization. Volunteers are a tremendous resource for charitable nonprofits like DCMS. Without volunteers, DCMS would not be able to conduct many of its programs, raise funds, or serve the DC music industry. Interested in lending your skills to help us with our annual summit and other activities? Connect and engage with us! Email us at volunteer@dcmusicsummit.org and tell us a little about yourself!

DCMS ORAL HISTORY COLLABORATIVE PROJECT

DCMS is a proud grantee of the DC Oral History Collaborative Partnership Grant in support of our oral history project "You Gotta Leave DC to Get Love." It's commonly thought that artists need to leave DC in order to grow creative businesses. Our project addresses this notion, and challenges it by showing the wonderful work being done to help artists succeed in DC.
